eFrances Michels 

Mrs.Michels joined Dobson, Craig and Associates in January 2017.  Mrs. Michels received her BA Degree from Bryn Mawr College. As a  Tallahassee native and longtime religion educator  leader , Mrs. Michels continue  to teach Gan Yeladim (Pre-K & K) at Temple Israel of Tallahassee from August 2001 to present.

From January 1992 to recently, Mrs. Michels  directed marketing, communications and event planning  for ERS Group, Inc., to include managing its  social media marketing apparatus. Additionally, she  provided content writing and editing for marketing pieces and online blog and newsletters. Was an integral part of all marketing campaigns, including planning, editing, and writing. Contribute to business development efforts and client/matter/return on investment tracking. Mrs. Michels also executed ERS Groups  seminar programs, including promotional materials, direct & E-marketing efforts, presenter and registrant relations, hotel negotiations, and on-site logistics. Also, managed research and logistics of company participation in conferences, association events, and trade shows, including vendor relations, exhibiting, and on occasion, on-site representation of ERS Group. Monitor, analyze and report on regulations, legislation, court cases for economists/senior management.

Prior to her work with ERS, she worked with the Florida Realtors Association, as a member of their legislative team by tracking legislation, event planning, prepared informational materials for Associations strategic communication needs,  assisted in staffing statewide meetings, the planning and execution of associations Florida Legislative Day activities, smaller committee meetings, and the annual Washington, DC Hill visit. Mrs. Michels also wrote articles and case studies for National Association of Realtors, monthly Florida Association of Realtors' Magazine and local Boards of Realtors' publications, as well as speeches for membership. Educated and mobilized membership by preparing Calls to Action and Talking Points on pending legislation, and political action handbooks. Worked with and coordinated activities of Realtor members for Calls to Action and for lobbying legislators. Produced a weekly/biweekly update on legislation of interest during the Florida Legislative Session, and a comprehensive end of session legislative summary.

She performed similar duties for the National Association of Realtors in Washington DC  from 1984-1988 where she wrote monthly State and Municipal Newsletter on governmental and grass roots initiatives, local ordinances, and state legislation. Coordinated activities for several divisions of the State and Municipal Group, including handling logistics and on site national meetings and task forces.  Mrs. Michels is also fluent in the languages of German  and Italian.
